A mulher respondeu:

Agent of Providence

Agent of Providence

msgmr.jpgPraying is a habit for the majority of people.

Aware of their frailty, they try to keep in touch with the Supreme Being.

Many ask for help on material matters, like getting a new job or achieving the cure for an illness.

Others pray for strength in difficult times.

There are those who seek inspiration from Above to better conduct their existence, in a dignifying context.

There is also no shortage of those who remember to pray in thankfulness for blessings they received, or just as a way to keep in touch with the highest levels of Spirituality.

The Gospel mentions many passages when Christ prayed.

Jesus was pure and wise, and still did not give up praying as a resource.

It is an eloquent sign that praying is vital to human life.

When the Master composed the Lord´s Prayer, He pointed out that people should forgive in order to be forgiven.

He also affirmed that people should do to others as they wish others would do to them.

From that we can conclude that one should always be prepared to give what one wishes to receive in terms of assistance and comprehension.

Spiritism teaches that Spirits are agents of Creation.

They incarnate with the purpose of evolving and gathering knowledge and virtues.

Thus, they acquire the necessary conditions to do what is asked of them in the work of Creation.

Spirits are part of nature.

Human intelligence integrates the Divine Plan.

Every man has the mission of contributing to the improvement of the world in which he lives.

The Lord´s projects are accomplished by the actions of His creatures.

In their unconscious actions, microscopic animals help in the formation of archipelagos.

The fight of countless men led to the suppression of unjust practices, such as slavery and torture.

Scientists are always discovering the cure for diseases which trouble Humanity.

Technological advancements, results from human labor, make life easier and more interesting.

Thus, Divine Providence manifests through mankind.

Certainly, those are not the only divine resources.

But human actions blend themselves in the natural way by which the Creator´s blessings fall upon Earth.

Your task is changing the World you live into a better place.

And you should always do to others what you wish they would do to you.

The answer to your prayers usually does not come in a resounding and mystical way.

It usually takes the shape of small events which help you and shed light by the actions of other people.

This way, you can and must be the answer to the prayers your fellow men direct upwards.

Pay attention to the difficulties of those who are close to you.

Many of them need a prudent and sensible piece of advice so as to not act with insanity.

Others need a word of comprehension after a great mistake.

Some are almost giving up after a defeat and are in need of encouragement and hope.

You have so much to give!

Count your blessings and be glad in sharing them.

Let goodness manifest through your hands.

Be an agent of Providence.

This is your mission.

Accomplishing it, you will accomplish peace and plenitude.

Think about that.

Aborto no realizado

Aborto no realizado

About Angels

About Angels

msgmr.jpgThe word angel usually evokes the idea of moral perfection.

It is usually applied to all beings, good and evil, which do not belong to humankind. One can say: the good or the evil angel, the light angel and the dark angel.

This expression is often found in the Bible. Sometimes, it means humans acting as messengers, ambassadors and prophets.

The most frequent use of this word applies to creatures existing before the creation of the world, but also created by God.

They are distinguished from men by their intelligence, wisdom and power.

Some critics say the idea of angels replacing gods is the product of the influence of Israel´s neighboring countries, especially Persia.

This is how they appear, in biblical descriptions, speaking to men in our own form and language. And they are shown with hierarchic degrees among them.

In the New Testament, it can be observed that references to angels are less frequent than in the Old Testament.

The existence of human beings acting as God´s messengers to mankind is thought to be true in non biblical religions as well.

This is how we see descriptions of angels in the mahométisme, in the greek and oriental mythologies and in some forms of buddhism.

The Koran is extraordinarily rich in references to angels.

Spiritism teaches us that angels are beings created like every other Spirit.

Once they have passed through all the degrees and muster all the perfections, they become pure Spirits.

Since there are such Spirits who have reached this category far before mankind was created, men assumed they had been created like that, perfect.

Among angels, there are those who dedicate themselves to protection: these are the guardian angels.

They are always superior to men and are there to advise, support, help in the steep climb of the mountain of progress.

They are stronger and more devoted friends than the most intimate connections that can be found on Earth.

These beings are there ordered by God, who put them beside men. They are there because of His love.

They perform a beautiful and yet very painful mission together with men.

Be it in prisons, hospitals, lairs of vices, or even in solitude, they are always by their protégées´side.

It is from them that our soul receives the sweetest impulses and wiser advices.

They help us in moments of crises.

For those who think it is impossible a truly noble Spirit to be restricted to such a troublesome task at every moment, it is good to remember that they can influence us from a million miles away.

For them, space does not exist. They can be living in other worlds and keep the connection with their protégées.

They have abilities we cannot comprehend.

Each guardian angel has his protégé and guards him or her like a parent guards his or her child.

The angel is happy when the protégé is walking the right path and cries when his advices are ignored.

The guardian angel is connected to the individual from birth until death and frequently follows him or her after death and even throughout numerous bodily experiences.

For the immortal Spirit, these existences are but short phases in live.

Gregory Magno was the first one to introduce the concept of angelology in occidental christian theology.

With this, besides angels and archangels, two new classes appeared: the cherubs and seraphs, who were never mentioned in the Bible as angel-like beings.

In the New Testament, angels are presented as subject to Christ, the perfect Spirit.

About your son

About your son

msgmr.jpgWe parents have so many worries about our children. Even when trying to do our best, we get lost many times, not for lack of love but because we miss important points.

That is why it is important to keep in mind that our children are blessed apprentices of life. We should not make their lessons more difficult by trying to do their tasks for them.

Our children are green flower buds in the branches of existence. We should not precipitate their flowering, making their spontaneous vitality weaker.

Our children are disciples of existence. We should not prevent their productivity, taking on our shoulders the occupations that are theirs.

Our children are lamps increasing their light. We should avoid putting in it the viscous oil of adulation so that the wick, that makes the flickering of hope crackle, will not drown.

Our children are fruits in development to the future. Let us not try to harvest it before the right time comes, as the benefice that it will do does not belong to us.

Let us remember that we are all God´s children, and so are our children.

We can walk next to them in this narrow road, but they will only achieve honour when they become able to get to their objectives alone.

We must show them the abyss in front of them, but it is up to them to surpass obstacles and test the fortress of their characters.

We should teach them the lessons of the Gospel, but it is up to them the murmur of the prayer, in the continuous prayer of the noble actions.

Our children are the beloved disciples that God put in reach of our moved hearts; nevertheless, our job is to love as a father loves, teaching, correcting, and educating through discipline for happiness.

Let us show them life, but let us let them live.

Let us talk about darkness, but let us give them the light of knowledge.

Let us send them to school, but let us be their masters at home.

Let us introduce them the world, but let us help them build their own world.

Let us take their hands and put them to work, teaching them with our example, but not actually doing their tasks for them, which would only develop uselessness.

Our children are the life of our lives that will live in the life of the whole humanity.

Let us do our duty loving them, but let us exercise our love teaching them how to love and helping them grow into men though the noblest duties, so that later we will be able to bless them.

Let us love, in our son, the son of all mothers, and let us love in other women´s sons our own son, so that being honored with the love of other mothers he will enrich the world, loving other sons.

Our son is divine seed; let us not deny him, due to false tenderness, the dark cave of fertility, pretending devotion, because the seed that does not die will never be source of life.

Our son is the hope of the world, let us not asphyxiate him in the selfishness of our desires, forgetting that we came to Earth without him and will get back alone again, delivering him to God according to the wise and fair laws of creation.

About the poor and the rich

About the poor and the rich

msgmr.jpgMost people wish to become rich. Money means privileges, pleasure and power. It is a dream that arrives at almost everyone.

Those who are poor wish to have a better life. Those who are rich target on becoming a millionaire. And what about the millionaire? Well, millionaires also want more! They want to have billions.

Those who are ill believe money will give them access to V.I.P. treatment, while those who are healthy dream of trips, and dinners in fancy restaurants.

Unknown people search richness in order to become celebrities.

Even idealists, dreamers and saints want money. Some dream about improving the World and others plan on building hospitals and shelters.

They all believe they will use the resources for funding the general wellbeing.

There are those who even laugh at the popular axiom that states money does not bring happiness. Stamping an ironic smile on their faces, some will say:

Money may not bring happiness indeed, but it helps a lot.

Some aspects in life though, are simply not subject to the influence of money. In fact, money power refers solely to things that can be bought.

For those subtle things – that belong exclusively to the Divine – money is totally useless. It cannot make rich people´s children prettier, for instance.

Not even the World´s biggest fortune is able to buy for a mom whose son is gone, some comfort. And as much noble as one may be, who can ever guarantee that she will ever have true love?

Jesus´ words are wise: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

Nature shows us limits: who can live without air? Or without food or water? Who is able to avoid death, aging or suffering no matter how much money he has saved throughout life?

The limits imposed by God shall serve us as a warning about the equality that rules us. After all, we are all obliged to the same rules of birth, life and death.

Rich and poor, we are all born dependant, and small. No one has ever seen or heard about a millionaire baby who was already born with teeth or speaking sound and clear.

Even if the cradle is made of gold, rich children are also obliged to the same limits that reach the poor childhood.

Thus, we – beggars and millionaires – grow up gazing at the same sun, and having the same moon as our lives silent witness.

Rain, cold and heat hit us all equally. They do not increase or decrease because of the amount of money we carry.

Even death will come to us all one day. Some will be lying on noble beds and fancy linens while others will be found poorly dressed and lonely hearted in slums.

Death, however, will come to us all.

The coffin´s price and the tomb appearance will then hold nothing but external differences. Inside the tomb, the decomposition law will reach the physical body of the rich and poor equally.

A few decades later, if you mix rich and poor skeletons, who will ever be able to tell which bones had more money?

After the body dies, God will charge us only for the love we give, for the good we spread, for the ethics we carry and for the peace we build.

And what about the money? Oh, the money will remain in the World´s safes to be used by other temporary administrators.

Think about it!

Abortamiento

Abortamiento

No. La vida pide protección, amparo.

Abortion

Abortion

msgmr.jpgIn what moment does the miracle of life occur? In what instant does the Divine blow start animating the body of that new being who will soon live on Earth?

The answer to these questions have always worried human kind. Philosophers, religious people and scientists have tried to answer it. Only religion can offer certainty.

What is most interesting is that these certainties are very similar amongst different religions, which indicates that the various religious traditions around the World have a lot in common.

For example, almost all religions preach that life starts at the moment of conception.

In the moment that the sperm fertilizes the ovum, the most complex and touching process starts: the formation of a new human body.

And the religious people assure that it is in this sublime moment that the Spirit unites with the forming body.

Therefore all religions are also unanimous in condemning abortion. The only exception is when pregnancy is a risk to the mother´s life. And this exception is also unanimous in all beliefs.

Well, if it is so, if all religions condemn abortion, why does Humanity insist on it?

What makes parents want to kill their little baby? What drives us to an act that victimizes such a fragile and unprotected being?

The answer: our selfishness. When we find ourselves in a situation that threatens our comfort, we usually protect ourselves through a defensive attitude.

The problem is when our defensive attitude violates somebody else´s rights. And this definitely happens during an abortion.

Yes, because a body that already belongs to a human being grows in the silence of the venter. This body will be the home to an immortal Spirit, it will shelter a son of God.

How many times do we, who believe in God, think of that body in formation as a brother of ours? A special being placed in our lives by God´s hands?

And how do we receive this new life? What do we do with the Divine gift that comes to our hands? Is it correct to suffocate it when it is still fragile and very small?

No, life calls for protection and support.

In all countries and languages of the World, maternity is worshiped as divine. We cannot, in the name of modernity, corrupt our inherited ethical and moral values. The natural law is of progress. Never of regression.

Nowadays, the speech of many is that a woman must have the power to decide about her own body.

The legalization of abortion is portrayed as a human rights progress because it supposedly will protect poor women from illegal and risky abortions.

These arguments are a misconception based on wrong principles.

First, because the fetus is itself a being. It does not belong to the mother´s body.

And one must ask: Whose human rights are we talking about? Human rights are supposed to protect ethical acts, but not to legalize the killing of children.

And if we indeed want to protect poor women from the consequences of an illegal abortion, we should invest in health and education.

These are the real antidotes. Well-informed women will use birth control methods; they will have access to information. They will not have to kill to avoid a gestation.

On the other hand, where is the so called love that we so much wish to feel? The exercise of love recommends us to take care of the weak. What kind of love is this that abandons a blooming life?

Love shelters, blesses and strengthens. It is the maximum expression of brotherhood. Love surely does not kill.
